Chaired by the Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, this launch event represents a key moment to raise awareness on gender equality and the gender dimension in research and innovation.
The first phase of the Campaign aims to challenge stereotypes and to encourage girls aged 13-18, as human capital of tomorrow, to develop an interest in science as well as to pursue careers in research and innovation.
The event will feature key-note speeches from Members of the European Parliament as well as live and video testimonies from inspirational women.
